The Coming of HIA NSW Building & Business and HIA Home Show

The HIA NSW Building & Business and HIA Home Show is going to held on 31 May — 1 June 2012 at Sydney Convention Centre.

HIA (Housing Industry Association) is Australia’s largest residential building organisation. Started in 1945, and established as the Builders and Allied Trades Association (BATA) in 1946. Members include builders, timber floors and other trade contractors, designers, kitchen and bathroom experts, manufacturers and suppliers.

It’s reported that over 300 exhibitors will showcase the lastest trends in renovation, furnishing, building, home improvements and outdoor living under one roof.

David Bare, NSW Executive Director of HIA, introducted, “The event includes a two-day, industry focused speaker program that will be sure to give business owners a competitive edge. You could acquire the latest information on building industry trends, promote the growth of your business and keep your buiding knowledge up-to-date.”

The event’s stream includes ‘Buidling Material & Practices’, ‘Buiding Designs & Trends’ etc, you’ll get the latest information on topics like ‘outdoor living’, ‘DA lodging’, ‘kitchen and bathroom trends’, ‘solar collectors’, ‘brick developments’, ‘waterproofing’, ‘fire regulations’, ‘manufactured flooring’. One of an industry expert, David Hayward, from Australian Timber Flooring Association(ATFA), will tell you what you need to know in achieving quality timber floor including sub-floor, boards, accessories, finishes and maintenance.
